Terms of use for the Pescatarian Guide app.
1. Acceptance
By using the Pescatarian Guide app you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License and use
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer the app or use it unlawfully.
3. Free version, ads and the Lifetime purchase
- The app is free and fully featured. The free version shows full-screen ads from Google AdMob.
- You can buy "Lifetime — Remove ads": a one-time in-app purchase that turns ads off for good. The current price is shown in the app before you buy.
- It is not a subscription and nothing renews. You pay once and are never charged again for Lifetime.
- Payment is taken by the Apple App Store or Google Play from your store account when you confirm the purchase. The purchase belongs to that account.
- On another device signed in to the same Apple or Google account, tap Restore purchase to get it back.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
4. User content
The entries you add (logged meals, saved meals, favourites, notes) belong to you. They are stored locally on your device and are never published or shared by us. You can export a copy to a file and restore it later.
5. Disclaimers
- The app provides general nutrition and educational information. It is not medical or dietary advice.
- Mercury information is based on FDA/EPA advice. Nutrition values are estimates (based on USDA data) and may vary by product and preparation.
- During pregnancy or breastfeeding, when planning a child's diet, or if you have a health condition, check your food choices with a doctor or dietitian.
- The app does not replace individual advice from a specialist.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract.
7. Store terms
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Changes and contact
